The staff of Marchant Plastic Surgery works as a team to ensure they give patients the most comprehensive care possible. From your initial consultation to months and even years following your surgery, our staff will guide you through any concerns you may have. Our Doylestown practice’s staff members have the cosmetic surgery knowledge necessary to assist you because of the high standard we set for staff competence. Every employee must further their education annually in order to become a more proficient member of our team. Since all of our staff have been cosmetic surgery patients themselves, those who work at Marchant Plastic Surgery understand the need for compassionate medical care.
When you visit our practice, you will be greeted by Marianne, our front desk medical assistant and newest staff memeber at Marchant Plastic Surgery. Melanie, our patient coordinator, will assist you as you learn more about our practice. She has been with us for over 20 years and can address many of your concerns about cosmetic surgery with Dr. Marchant. Our medical assistant, Ilene, will help monitor your health before, during, and after surgery. Our operating room nurse supervisor, Pam, has more than 35 years of experience as an operating room nurse in Doylestown and is qualified to see to it that everything goes smoothly during your cosmetic surgery. We encourage you to visit our practice and meet the Marchant Plastic Surgery team for yourself.
Ilene is our kind and gentle medical assistant who escorts you to and from our consultation or examination rooms. Whether it is a visit before or after surgery, she’s the gal who will make certain your visit is as pleasant, and timely, as possible. Her job is to keep your appointment ON schedule!
Pam is our surgical nurse supervisor. She is extremely proficient in the operating room and is a valuable assistant in surgery. Patients see her, though, as the kind face whose gentle touch can calm and reassure. When you meet her, you’ll understand.
Melanie is the patient coordinator and advocate helping patients have their surgery proceed with every detail and expectation met. She’s the “go to” person with simple answers using her experience with cosmetic surgery patients from the past 20 years.
Kim is our business office assistant. She’s a valuable “behind-the-scenes” staff member. If she looks familiar, she was the microdermabrasion patient in our episode on “The Simple Life: Interns.” (She’s much prettier without the blue gel mask!)
Although Dr. Marchant’s biography and credentials are listed within this website, it’s most interesting to know about some of his personal interests and accomplishments.
Dr. Marchant is married with two children and lives in the Doylestown area. He is an avid swimmer, is published in a local cookbook (a burrito recipe he attempted to duplicate from a favorite lunch trunk in Denver where he was a plastic surgery resident), and holds a United States patent for a method to create an envelope for any size card. Way back when (1995 to be exact), Dr. Marchant was also featured in the local newspaper as one of the first physicians in the Doylestown area to use something called “the internet,” to conduct research on current medical issues. (Obviously, he was on to something!)
