Dr. Eric A. Marchant began a general surgery residency at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was soon accepted into a plastic surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After completing his plastic surgery residency in 1991, Dr. Marchant started his own practice and has established himself as a leading Philadelphia and Doylestown Bucks County plastic surgeon with staff privileges at Doylestown Hospital and the Doylestown Surgery Center in Warrington, Pennsylvania. He was appointed Director of the Department of Surgery at Doylestown Hospital in 2007.

Dr. Eric A. Marchant is married and has two children. His son is a recent graduate of Yale University and is currently serving in the United States Navy. His daughter is a junior in college majoring in theatre. Dr. Marchant is active in the Doylestown community and served on the Central Bucks Family YMCA Board of Directors for six years. He enjoys swimming, digital media, sketching, and drawing. Dr. Marchant is also proficient in mathematics and holds a U.S. patent for a template which can create envelopes for any size card.
