C-Esta™ Facial
Glycolic Peel
MegaPeel® MicrodermabrasionMicrodermabrasion exfoliates the dead, dull surface of the skin to stimulate the production of fresh skin cells and collagen. At Marchant Plastic Surgery, we use the MegaPeel® system, the premier microdermabrasion skin care equipment in the industry. Our aesthetician will use a hand-piece to brush tiny crystals across the skin’s surface, buffing away a variety of imperfections including fine lines, dullness, mild acne scars, and brown face spots.
Each crystal microdermabrasion treatment takes less than an hour to complete and skin fully recovers within 24 hours. In fact, you will not need anesthetic before facial rejuvenation with microdermabrasion at our Philadelphia-area practice. While most patients choose to receive several microdermabrasion treatments to maximize their results, skin is more even in color and texture after just one MegaPeel® microdermabrasion session. C-Esta™ Facial
All skin types can benefit from this Jan Marini Vitamin C facial treatment. The C-Esta™ line features a stabilized form of vitamin C which is topically absorbed to soothe and hydrate facial skin. This facial utilizes the DAE Complex™, a patented absorption system for vitamin C which allows the vitamins to penetrate the skin and protect against aging. The vitamin C formulation in C-Esta™ also stimulates the production of collagen. After our aesthetician treats your skin with this facial, your face will feel firmer, tighter, and smoother. Glycolic Peel
Your skin naturally sloughs off dead skin cells, but aging and sun damage can slow this process, dulling your complexion. Worse, the buildup of dead cells can block pores and cause breakouts. With a glycolic peel, our aesthetician can exfoliate away these dead cells for a radiant appearance.
Glycolic acid is a powerful exfoliating agent found naturally in fruit acid. When a skin conditioning solution containing glycolic acid is applied to the face, dead cells are released from the skin’s surface and the fresher skin beneath is exposed. Studies show that routine glycolic peels can speed up cell turnover and stimulate collagen production.
Unlike spas and salons, which are only authorized to use a weak glycolic acid solution, Marchant Plastic Surgery can safely treat patients with a 70% concentration peel by Jan Marini Skin Research. You will feel a slight tingling during your glycolic peel, but the treatment is not painful.
